About

Andrew J. Smith PhD

I am a father, husband, outdoorsman, Christian, Army Veteran, and Pat Tillman Military Scholar. I am also a clinical psychologist and assistant professor, balancing roles as a therapist, teacher, and researcher. My work includes more than 40 peer-reviewed scientific articles that focus on improving social functioning for individuals and communities. My work has culminated in the realization that social connection problems are the key target that we need to focus on to increase thriving, reduce polarization, and re-connect to shared meaning and purpose. In response, I designed, tested, and published a novel approach that improves social connection entitled RE-WIRE. In this project, we are committed to scaling RE-WIRE to…well…RE-WIRE our individual and communal approach to growing deeper authenticity, intimacy, and meaning through relationships.

Zach Clement

The heart of my career revolves around building technologies that positively impact society. For the past 12 years, I’ve been designing and building AI systems and web applications, including a robust portfolio of patents and a series of published research papers. Happily married and father to three energetic boys, this work is about improving real, authentic social connectivity musculature back into our culture. The mission is personal– to build a world that my boys, family, and community can thrive in once again. The next generation needs this kind of socially driven and responsible technology in the deepest ways.
